Our photo blogging project continues on. When it’s your turn, pick up the camera from the L.S. comp lab. The list of 15 items is in the camera bag to guide you on what subject matter you need to take pictures of. Good luck!

The issue on the very bad posts and disrespect of other blogs has recently been resolved.  Thus, as I said in the earlier post, the 6th grade blogging project (05-06) will resume its original course beginning today.

Your blogging post for today will be about this experience.  *REMEMBER* — do NOT write about people — just topics.  Here are a few guide questions:

1. How did you feel when Mrs. Naz and Mr. Maiquez started talking about some students breaking the class’ Golden Rule in blogging?
2. If you are tempted or challenged by a friend to test the system and write bad comments on a post — what would you do?  Why?
3. What would you do to ensure that your fellow classmates do not write bad comments on blog posts?

Blogging is an expression of yourself.  What comes out on a post or comment reflects what’s within you.

This experience should not stop you from blogging, rather it should make you more aware of the responsibility that lies within you — that words — whether written on paper, emailed to someone, or comments left on a post — can be damaging, and ultimately will hurt someone — perhaps including yourself.  Be responsible with your blogging and you will avoid situations that will put you in trouble.
