Dr. Nelson just got a blog recently. I invite you to visit his blog at: http://drjorgenelson.edublogs.org. Read one of his posts and leave a comment for him. If you don’t understand his post that well, then just leave a comment for him on his “blog-venture”. Remember — use proper English grammar and correct spelling. His blog is visited and read by a lot of people — try to blog your best!
IDEAS: Perhaps you can leave a comment about what we’re doing in class and maybe invite him to read your blogs or our class blog. Make sure to leave links for him back to your blog site or to the class blog site. If you cannot create links in his blog’s comment window, then just type in the link, beginning with the “http://”.
Keep blogging!

Visit the blogs of your other teachers and leave a commen on one of their posts — even if your comment is not related to their post. Welcome them to the world of blogging and tell them:
- what you think of blogging
- why you think blogging is important
- how you think your teacher can use blogs in your classes
- to visit your blog and leave comments!
Think of other things you can write to your teacher about … maybe good comments on their teaching or the subject matter that they’re teaching. Your teachers would like to hear from you as well.

Submit four (4) posts on what you’re doing in the following subjects: English, Math, Science, and Social Studies. Reflect on what you’re studying and what you have learned — in addition to listing down what you’re doing in these classes. One post per subject. Guide questions you can answer:
- Why is this subject matter important in my studies in Middle School?
- How is this applicable to my life in Guam?
- Where can I find more information about the subject?
Keep blogging!
